The Steelers are working towards facing the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday as well as securing a spot in the NFL post season.

While they return to practice from their bye week we’ll be busy looking for mentions of your Black & Gold so we’ve got you covered. Here’s your Steelers Morning Huddle for Tuesday, Nov. 24th.

Handle your own business

The Steelers got some help from Pittsburgh West on Sunday night when the Arizona Cardinals handed the Cincinnati Bengals their second loss of the season. The Bengals now only have a two-game lead over the Steelers and the AFC North division isn’t fully out of grasp yet.

Teresa Varley has Steelers defensive end Cameron Heyward’s thoughts about whether the team pays attention to what’s happening around the division.

"“We can’t really worry about what they are doing. Whatever is going on over there, doesn’t apply to us. It might, but we have to take care of our business to let that apply to us.” – Cam Heyward"

Continue to stop the run

More from Steelers News

The Steelers had their strongest performance against the run against the Browns in Week 10.

According to Ray Fittipaldo of the PPG

, the Steelers defense is looking for more consistency when it comes to stopping the run. They’ll have a big test this Sunday against the Seahawks, who without

Marshawn Lynch

are still atop of the NFL with the highest yards per game on the ground.

Steelers linebacker Arthur Moats explains that the team feels like they’re headed in the right direction, after holding the Browns to 15 rushing yards, but consistency will be the key going forward.

"“We definitely have a ways to go. We’re doing some good things, but at the same time, we’re doing some things we want to get off the tape. We’re definitely heading in the right direction, but we have to be more consistent.” – Arthur Moats"

Showdown

By far the most anticipated matchup of this season will be watching Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown go up against Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman. ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler suggests the matchup promises fireworks.

Brown will routinely make teams pay for covering him one-on-one and Sherman is known for only covering a specific side of the field rather than always taking on the top receiver on the opposing team so it should be interesting to see how this plays out. No matter what defenses throw at them Ben Roethlisberger just seems to be able to connect with Brown over and over again and if Brown is covered there’s always Martavis Bryant.
