The Steelers return to practice this week from the bye in time to prepare to face the Seattle Seahawks on the road.

Before the Steelers head out west to Seattle

Teresa Varley spoke to

the Seahawks about the matchup. Seattle quarterback

Russell Wilson

said he’s been watching

Ben Roethlisberger

since he came into the league back in 2004. Wilson would have been 16 during Roethlisberger’s rookie season.

"“He’s a hard worker, talented and I have a lot of respect for him. I have watched him ever since he came into the league. His success right away was staggering, just watching the way he was able to win Super Bowls and be clutch when he needed to be. Also watching him extend plays, it’s pretty cool to watch.” – Russell Wilson"

Vote your Steelers into the Pro Bowl

The NFL Pro Bowl ballot is open and there are some Steelers who are deserving of your votes. Obviously Antonio Brown has had a Pro Bowl season already so far. He could sit down on the field the rest of the year and still deserve a Pro Bowl nod. Defensive end Cameron Heyward deserves his first ever Pro Bowl spot as well.

Ben Roethlisberger deserves a Pro Bowl nod and the Steelers offensive line is lobbying for DeAngelo Williams to get his first Pro Bowl as a Steeler. Make sure to vote for your Steelers.

Taking on the 12th Man

Ed Bouchette of the PPG tells us that historically the Steelers have not fared well in Seattle. The franchise is 1-6 in Seattle all-time and the majority of Steelers players have never played in CenturyLink Field.

It’s the only stadium in the NFL where Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has never played and he’s expecting it to be extremely loud.

"“We expect it to be incredibly loud. But a lot of us have never been there, so you don’t know what to expect. Other than what you see on TV and hear about, that’s kind of what you have to prepare for.” – Ben Roethlisberger"

Hopefully the Steelers offense can quiet the crowd in Seattle on Sunday.
