Steelers season never truly ends for Steeler Nation so while the team starts to put in the work to prepare for the 2016 NFL season we’ll be busy looking for mentions of your Black & Gold so we’ve got you covered. Here’s your Steelers Morning Huddle for Thursday, May 5th.

Rookie camp roster announced

The bro hugs with Roger Goodell have been over for a week now and the Steelers rookies are about to have their first experience training at the UMPC Rooney Sports Complex. Bob Labriola has the Steelers announcement of their rookie minicamp roster complete with the draft picks, undrafted free agent signees and try-out guys.

One question Labriola was able to answer for Steeler Nation was in regards to second-year cornerback Senquez Golson and his participation eligibility for the rookie minicamp since he missed his rookie season due to injury. He’s not eligible to participate and has to wait for OTAs to resume.

You shouldn’t buy a tiger

You probably shouldn’t have to be told by someone that buying a tiger is most likely a poor investment choice, but Matt Bowen of ESPN points out that a lot of NFL rookies actually do need to be told that. He explains that the things NFL players waste their money on early in their careers range anywhere from cars to big cats.

The most sound investment advice he can offer is for players to rent in the city they’re drafted in until they know if it’s going to be their long-term residence or not and to not buy a pet tiger. Good advice.

Brown on Bryant

Steelers receiver Antonio Brown is still in Pittsburgh for the time being and on Wednesday made an appearance at Children’s Hospital to promote his charity softball game which will be held on June 11th at Consol Energy park in Washington, PA.

Next: What will the Steelers secondary look like?

Brown has apparently not spoke to suspended receiver Martavis Bryant but has high (no pun intended) expectations for his return.

If Bryant put in the kind of work that Brown puts in the two of them on the same offense would be mind blowing.
