The Steelers are on their way back to Pittsburgh as they’ll soon be checking into the dorms at Saint Vincent College for the 51st edition of Steelers training camp in Latrobe.

Steelers season never really ends for Steeler Nation so while the Steelers get their minds and bodies right to embark on the 2016 regular season we’ll be busy looking for mentions of your Black & Gold so we’ve got you covered. Here’s your Steelers Morning Huddle for Tuesday, July 26th.

Not going to miss any games you say?

We haven’t heard from Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell since news broke on Friday that the running back was facing a possible four-game suspension for violating the league’s substance abuse policy. ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler writes that Bell responded to a fan directly on Instagram and insisted his innocence.

"“I’m gonna win the appeal…ppl have no idea what happened, but don’t worry…let em hate. When I end up missin no games at all, ppl for sure gonna try to love me again and I’m only ridin with my LOYAL fans!!” – Le’Veon Bell"

More from Steelers News

You have to think that either there really is more to this story than just some missed tests or Bell is pretty delusional thinking that he’s going to win this appeal. For the record though, the appeal hasn’t even started yet. We’re nowhere near done with this mess.

We decided Manning didn’t do anything, but these other guys still need to talk

So James Harrison is taking on the NFL based on a bogus story from an Al Jazeera report that came out last November where some former anti-aging clinic intern was secretly recorded bragging about all of the NFL players he supplied HGH to. Most notably of those players named was Peyton Manning.

The NFL, according to them, started their “investigation” in December and Manning went on to have his corpse reanimated in time to win the Super Bowl while he blatantly denied allegations he took HGH or had it shipped to him or his wife. In the mean-time, the former anti-aging clinic intern who said all this recanted everything.

James Harrison was among other players included in the now recanted statements and the NFL has been after him to be interviewed for their own investigation. Harrison and the other players involved sent affidavits via the NFLPA asserting their innocence and requesting the NFL show more credible proof to warrant interviews with the players.

The NFL on Monday reminded everyone that they can do whatever they want. They cleared Manning from their imaginary investigation, which is convenient considering he won the Super Bowl and then retired and they say that Harrison and the others till have to be interviewed. They suck.

Further reminder that they’re making it up as they go along

Cleveland Browns wideout Josh Gordon was reinstated today. He was also suspended for the first four games of the season. Gordon was suspended for two games in 2013, for 10 games in 2014 and for the entire 2015 season all for violations of the NFL’s substance abuse policy.

The reinstatement is conditional and comes about a week earlier than when the NFL said they’d reconsider his case (Aug. 1st). Some other guy comes back from a four game suspension the same time as Gordon. Guess who the Browns play that week?
