While the team tries to regroup from the latest loss to gear up for the 7-1 Cowboys coming to town we’ll be busy looking for mentions of you Black & Gold so we’ve got you covered. Here’s your Steelers Morning Huddle for Thursday, Nov. 10th.

I’ll follow you anywhere Mr. Gump

Ben Roethlisberger had a message for his team as they embarked on a week of practice to try and get off of the schneid. He requested simply that they just follow him. According to Mike Prisuta, his teammates dig it. Guard Ramon Foster is all about following his quarterback.

"“I love that. He understands what it’s about. I’ve played in one (a Super Bowl), AB (Antonio Brown) played in one, Maurkice Pouncey played on a team that reached the super Bowl but we didn’t win it. Roethlisberger knows what it takes, man, as far as being on the field, he’s a field general. I’m OK with that, I like that.” – Ramon Foster"

Welcome back, Bud

A familiar face returned to practice on Wednesday when linebacker Bud Dupree rejoined the squad and moved from the Injured Reserve List to the Injured Reserve Designated to Return List. The second-year linebacker worked on the scout team on Wednesday.

Don’t expect him out on the field on Sunday against the Cowboys but he could be up in action the following week against the Browns.

It just got interesting

The Cowboys have a big of a quarterback controversy on their hands. Rookie Dak Prescott has led the team to a 7-1 record and is doing well. He’s got 12 touchdowns and two interceptions in eight starts. The problem the Cowboys face now is that Tony Romo is healthy, for the time being.

It could be just a matter of time before Romo crumbles into a million pieces again but ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler has Roethlisberger’s comments on how he can relate to Prescott’s rookie success. He stepped in for Tommy Maddox in 2004 and led the team to a 15-1 record.

What do they do? I bet whatever they decide will end up in blowing it in December like they always do. That’ll be fun to watch.
