While the team recovers and wraps up the season that was we’ll be busy looking for mentions of your Black & Gold so we’ve got you covered. Here’s your Steelers Morning Huddle for Friday, Jan. 27th.

Cut it aht

All of the talk about Antonio Brown being a diva and pouting about not getting the ball needs to just stop. Just stop it. Gerry Dulac of the PPG admits that Brown might annoy every single one of his teammates with his catch phrases, social media usage, and desire to get the ball all of the time.

More from Still Curtain

He very may well annoy the crap out of each and everyone one of his teammates on a regular basis but that doesn’t mean he’s not wanted in that locker room or on that field. Brown is regarded as one of the hardest-working players on the team and maybe even the league.

He’s also pretty well liked. If excessive social media usage is his biggest issue, get over it. He’s the best wide receiver in the league.

Rosie will be back

Things are going well so far for fullback Roosevelt Nix, who signed a one-year, $615K deal with Pittsburgh, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.

Here’s hoping that next time they need a yard to get into the goal they might actually think about using him to get it. Just a thought.

It’s a hit

The NFL got something right. It took them long enough but they finally decided the Pro Bowl shouldn’t be some odd version of the same old game just featuring old stars drafting and coaching their team. Dan Hanzus of End Around describes what a hit the Skills Challenge was.

Dodge ball. They played dodge ball for crying out loud. Why have we waited so long for this? I’d rather watch this than the actual game on Sunday. Far superior. The only Steeler players in Orlando in the game will be guard David DeCastro and linebacker Ryan Shazier.
