Ray Rice would play for Pittsburgh

Ray Rice is still looking for a job and sympathy. He gave a lengthy interview with Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun in which he describes how the year off was a “blessing in disguise” for him. Sure it was. He tries his best to sell himself to any NFL team that might catch wind of the interview citing that he’s the best he’s felt in years and has probably added a few years to his career by having a year off of wear and tear.

The violins start playing when he describes his depression after the video emerged of him cold-cocking his then-fiancé in an Atlantic City casino. He didn’t say he considered suicide but said that he could relate to the feeling that life wasn’t worth living and it was the lowest place he’d ever been. Wonder if that’s lower than the ground his wife was being dragged across by him after he knocked her out?

Rice is basically trying to get back on the NFL field any way he can and was asked if he’d even consider playing for Baltimore’s rival, the Pittsburgh Steelers, if they’d have him.

"“It’s safe to say I would play for anybody right now. I know Baltimore wouldn’t like it, but I would play for anybody right now.” – Ray Rice"

No thanks, we’re good.
