Steelers: Three grades for brutal Week 8 loss

For the last several weeks I have been handing out poor grades and criticism for Pittsburgh’s secondary. Yesterday they were far from perfect against the Bengals but fair is fair and they performed much better as a whole than of late.

The major standout was cornerback Antwon Blake, who made several key deflections and made an excellent pick on Andy Dalton in the fourth quarter:

The major weak point for Pittsburgh’s roster has been cornerback this season but if Blake builds on his performance and the rest of the Steelers defensive backs respond it may be too early to bury them.
