After being released by the Pittsburgh Steelers, Ladarius Green is searching for his new home in the NFL.
It came as a surprise to every Steelers fans when we heard the news that they released Ladarius Green. The 26-year-old tight end may have only played in six games with the Steelers, but he was assumed to be a part of the future in the Steel City.
After a failed physical and the emergence of Jesse James, Pittsburgh decided it was time to move on from Green. Now, he’s hoping his injury-ridden past doesn’t hold teams back from giving him an opportunity.
Green still have a lot of upside to his game. As a speedy tight end, Green would be a great addition to any vertical offense in the NFL. If a team is searching for a player who can play the middle of the field and still find space deep, Green is their guy.
There are definitely teams out there eyeing him up. He’s still young, has plenty of potential, and outside his injuries has been a phenomenal player. Teams who are questioning their tight end position may not be looking deep into adding Green to their summer roster.
Not long after his release from the Steelers, here are some potential landing spots for Green.
