5. Denver Broncos
The Denver Broncos have bigger needs than a tight end, but after playing Green for four years, they may make him an offer. Moving into the season with Virgil Green as their starter, they don’t necessarily need a tight end, but adding another one may not be a bad idea.
Virgil is more of a blocking tight end, where Ladarius can space the field and find space in the vertical passing game. Alongside Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders, Green would find a lot of holes in coverage.
Denver may already be thinking of scooping him up and adding depth to their passing attack, mainly to help Trevor Siemian this season. Moving forward, they’d like to develop their young quarterback, and by increasing his targets, they take away a lot of pressure.
The Broncos may not make a move on Green, but they definitely have an eye on him. Maybe they’ll take him in for a physical and sign him to a one-year deal to test the waters on the 26-year-old pass catcher.
