Pittsburgh Steelers: 30 greatest players in franchise history
First, there was Terry Bradshaw and Lynn Swann. Now, there’s Ben Roethlisberger and Antonio Brown.
Already considered by some a top-10 wide receiver of all-time, Antonio Brown is already among the greats and has plenty of time left. His catching ability has only grown with each season. In times where the Steelers were without Le’Veon Bell or Ben Roethlisberger, Brown has been the sole answer. And every time, he’s come through.
Brown may currently have the best pair of hands in the NFL. Amongst the league’s top receivers, he’s been considered arguably the best for years. Never slowing down, it seems that as each year passes, it’s more of a consensus that he is the top of the pack within today’s receiving core.
The only remaining issue in Brown’s career is the lack of a Super Bowl ring. An NFL MVP finalist in 2017, and a favorite again in 2018, he’ll be hunting for his first piece of hardware. Nothing would be more satisfying than taking home MVP and following it up with a Lombardi Trophy.
Whether he pulls off a Super Bowl victory or not, though, he’s a future Pro Football Hall of Famer, and already the greatest wide receiver to play for the Steelers.
