Special Teams

Special Teams is also an integral part to the success of the team as well but when you have a game-winning field goal kicker, sharp coverage teams that have seldom given up touchdowns and a coach with experience as well as passion for his unit, I don’t worry so much.

So, the coaching is there, the offensive firepower is there and the defensive capabilities are in place. This 2018-2019 squad is primed to reach and win the Ship with only health (clouds) being able to put a damper on those plans.

Players will run through brick walls for these coaches and for all of Todd Haley’s’ ingenuity, he actually stopped the offense from reaching its peak. He’s gone. Big Ben and he were certainly like oil and water but now Ben has his QB coach as his coordinator. Butler is ready to scheme his way into a possible head coaching position in the future by implementing a fast defense that may lead the league again in sacks but this time with interceptions added to the list of accomplishments.
