Now that the Steelers have made their last first round selection of  the 2010’s, we’ll take a look at all the first round picks since the turn of the century.

The Steelers are known for being one the of the best drafting teams in the NFL. Since 2000, there have been a fair share of some great picks that have helped the Steelers succeed and win Super Bowls.

There have also been first round picks gone wrong. Some of them weren’t terrible and/or even became decent players, but ultimately were not worth the first round pick that brought them to Pittsburgh.

A couple of these picks are a little early to tell, like T.J. Watt, Terrell Edmunds, and obviously Devin Bush. Watt looks like a great pick, Edmunds has one solid year under his belt, and Bush has yet to play a down in the NFL.

To follow the mantra “save the best for last, we’ll start with the five worst first round picks since 2000.
