Steelers Five Burning Questions for week four against Bengals
By Edward Hunt
Will Mason Rudolph be able to move the ball better this week?
The Steelers had trouble moving the ball last week. The famous stat was the six points off of turnovers. That is especially bad after getting four turnovers from the defense. The Steelers couldn’t move the ball into the end zone after getting the ball within field goal range as well.
Rudolph did flash a bit in the second of last start. He threw a touchdown pass to Juju Smith-Schuster and Diontae Johnson. He looks stronger in the realm of stretching the field, which is not something he did that well at Oklahoma State. This is an indication that he is adapting to this offensive scheme.
The Steelers need have all their eggs in the Mason Rudolph basket at this point in the season. The Steelers will only go as far as Mason Rudolph will take them. I would bet the Steelers do not want to go to rookie Devlin Hodges this early in the season.
