Devin Bush

The Steelers have finally found a speedy, rangy linebacker with quickness and size to help with coverage underneath the middle of the field. That will be tested all day Sunday as the Colts have two tight ends that can hurt defenses if they can’t cover the middle.

Eric Ebron and Jack Doyle have combined for 432 yards on 37 catches and four touchdowns for the Colts offense in 2019. T.Y. Hilton’s injury will mean they may look to run the ball more and look at those tight ends to pick up the receiving game.

Devin Bush has come a long way since coming to the team and only continues to get better. He will be a big part of stopping the Colts duo of Ebron and Doyle.

Mark Barron has not been exactly what the Steelers were wanting or expecting when signing him, so Bush is under the spotlight and growing with many eyes on him from coaches to fans. His development is going well, and the test against Indianapolis will be good for that development.

Bush has helped this defense trend back to what they were before Ryan Shazier‘s tragic injury, He is in the thick of the Defensive Rookie of the Year talks, and he could help strengthen his case with a big game on Sunday.
