Hilton/Sutton vs. Cooper Kupp

With Robert Woods taking the outside battle against Nelson or Haden, the team’s leading receiver will take the slot as dangerous as ever.

Coming off of a yard 200-yard receiving game against the Bengal two weeks earlier, Cooper Kupp has sparked an offense that is finding its 2018 form again.

Last year he was on a steady pace before seeing his season end due to an ACL injury. This year, however, he picked up where he left off–eclipsing his stats from last year in as many games (8.)

Mike Hilton and Cam Sutton will have their hands full in the slot against the Rams x-factor. The good news is both of these slot corners are having good years.

Cameron Sutton has been playing so well it’s becoming very difficult not to find him a spot on the field. Against the Chargers, he stepped in and made two clutch plays; one red zone swat away and the game-clinching interception.

Mike Hilton continues to be the best blitzing DB in the game and has had some ball hawk moments this year. He is in a contract year, and his play might see him get paid well this offseason.

If the Steelers can force Goff to throw, these two corners will be on high alert. Eliminating one of Goff’s favorite weapons is an absolute must.
