Offensive report cards vs. Rams:

Wide receivers: B-

There was both good and bad here. While James Washington and Diontae Johnson combined for 10 catches and 154 yards on 13 targets, nearly every receiver had a big dropped pass in this contest. JuJu also failed to impress against Jalen Ramsey – catching just 50 percent of his targets for 44 yards. The receivers are starting to show flashes, but they still need to be more consistent.

Tight ends: D+

It was a less than stellar game all round for Pittsburgh’s tight ends. While Vance McDonald and Nick Vannett made a few nice blocks in the run game, it still only helped spring the running backs lose for just 1.6 yards per carry. In the receiving game, things were even worse. McDonald and Vannett combined for 4 catches and just 19 yards on 8 targets. They didn’t do much to help out Mason Rudolph in this contest.

Offensive line: C-

It’s hard to pinpoint whether we are starting to see some of the repercussions of losing offensive line coach, Mike Munchak, or if the Steelers are suffering from the loss of their top running backs. Either way, this performance wasn’t pretty on Sunday. They gave up 3 sacks and a safety when Rudolph dropped back to pass, and paved way for just 1.6 yards per carry on the ground. There were a few players shuffled around because of the injury to Ramon Foster, so that also could have played a big factor in their overall performance.
