Steelers can win if defensively…

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it? The Steelers defense is finally running like a well-oiled machine. The Minkah Effect is REAL.

The Browns are an offense that is rich in depth and talent at the skill positions, but like the Steelers, have a terrible play caller/game planner. Nonetheless, the Steelers will need to be prepared.

The first area they need to eliminate is the Browns run game. Nick Chubb has been balling all season against some tough defenses. The Steelers cannot afford for him to run all over them.

The back end will be set up in a lot of one on one situations; they simply must find a way to win those battles. They managed to shut down Goff’s number one weapon in one on one coverage situations–this will have to replicate against OBJ and Jarvis Landry.

Taking away the Browns’ bread and butter with a bowl of soup will make Baker hungry and try to play hero ball, creating prime opportunity to make his life miserable in the pocket.

Baker hasn’t been stellar all year. Tossing 9 touchdowns to 12 interceptions, Baker has thrown more interceptions not pressured than pressured. Nonetheless, the opportunity for turnovers is there for the Steelers defense. They must take advantage.
