Offensive Line vs. CLE Front 7

Despite Mason Rudolph’s poor play, the offensive line didn’t help him out. The running game was non-existent, and pass protection failed.

The good news for the offensive line is the Browns will be without Myles Garrett–who was suspended indefinitely after the brawl towards the end of the game. They must take advantage of this.
Last week, the Steelers achieved 100 yards rushing for only the third time this year. They are 3-0 when doing so.

The quarterback from the first 100-yard rushing effort? This week’s starter: Devlin “Duck” Hodges.

They will need a strong effort this week and moving forward to support Duck. They can’t expose him to being one dimensional. With Conner out, look for another running back by committee effort.

The offensive line played very well in the ground game–especially to close the game out. If they can control the line of scrimmage, it will give Duck the best opportunity to succeed.
