Steelers vs. Bills: 5 burning questions for Pittsburgh’s Sunday night showdown
By Edward Hunt
Will the Steelers offense be able to score enough on the Bills’ defense?
The Steelers have struggled on offense but have been successfully running the ball this year. They might get James Conner back this week and they will have plenty of depth at running back.
The part of their offense that I worry about is their passing game. Juju Smith-Schuster looks like he will miss the game against the Bills after reinjuring his knee. Vance McDonald is also in concussion protocol and is listed as out as a game designation.
I worry about the Steelers’ ability to pass the football. Devlin Hodges has been better than Mason Rudolph but he isn’t Ben Roethlisberger. The Steelers will have to rely on James Washington and Diontae Johnson for pass-catching.
Another thing I worry about with the Steelers offense is the Bills’ corners. Levi Wallace and Tre’Davious White are very competent corners. Devlin Hodges will have to be at his best and Diontae Johnson and James Washington need to run good routes.
