Loser: Eric Ebron

Eric Ebron is becoming a fixture on the loser list, and his roster spot next year is far from a secure thing. To be fair, Roethlisberger only completed 14 passes, meaning his opportunities weren’t often, but he has still struggled to do much after he catches the ball. He only caught two passes this week, and worse yet he only got nine yards off of his catches.

Considering Ebron was hyped as a big play and red zone threat, he has yet to show much of that with the Steelers. Minus the Texans game, Ebron has been lackluster in most of his performances. He just hasn’t done much as a receiver, especially as a yards-after-the-catch type of weapon. Even worse, he has only earned one touchdown. A huge aspect of his game with the Colts was his ability to score but has almost been a nonfactor there so far.

His only positive trait so far is that he has made some tough catches over the middle and gotten a couple of first downs. That said, he has been a letdown early in his Steelers career. Hopefully, he can turn this around and get back on track for in 2020. If not, he could find himself as a free agent once again next year.
