Ben Roethlisberger’s Week 11 Grade: B+

As I said before, Ben didn’t have the greatest stat line but he was very efficient. He completed about 70% of his passes and led the offense to another win. The one thing holding me back from giving him an A or A- is his interception. The interception came late in the first half, Ben was trying to take a shot at the end zone before taking the 40-yard field goal. It seemed like James Washington got pushed down to the ground as Ben was releasing the ball. Unfortunately, there was no pass interference call and this lead to the Steelers leaving points on the field. I agreed with this play call and love the trust that Mike Tomlin has in Big Ben but it wasn’t executed the way they drew it up in their heads.

Going forward, I expect the offense to keep playing dink and dunk while also looking to find big chunks of yardage with their deep threats. This gameplay has worked in just about every game so far and there’s no reason to fix something that’s not broken.
