Antonio Gibson

Remember that thing I said about how the weapons surrounding Alex Smith makes his lack of TD passing overlookable? Well, Antonio Gibson is one of those weapons. The Washington Football Team running back has rushed for 8 touchdowns in his last 5 games, with a total of 402 yards on the ground in that same stretch.

Already being such a dependable force on the offense, not even a year after your name was called out on draft day makes you a threat for any team. But get this: Gibson was drafted in the third round! Let’s all thank the heavens that no Super Bowl competitors saw the potential in him that Washington eventually did.

With a young age and a heavy stat sheet, Antonio is a player that Washington will surely attempt to build their team around, and he’s almost guaranteed to get better with experience. So if the Steelers fail to look out for him on Monday night, they better not do so the next time he meets them on the turf.
