The defense scores more than the offense

While I think the Steelers offense does get back into the swing of things, I still think the group looks sluggish overall. That said, this Bengals offense is pathetic since losing Joe Burrow, and as a result, this defense should be licking its lips at the idea of going against them. Turnovers should be aplenty and as a result, I think a couple of them lead to a score.

Specifically, I’ll say the Steelers get a Terrell Edmunds pick-six and a T.J. Watt scoop and score off a Stephon Tuitt strip-sack. In turn, the Steelers offense only musters one touchdown despite finding some success overall. At the end of the day, the defense is the key factor in the Steelers’ eventual win in what turns into a lower scoring affair.

Even if this defense doesn’t find the endzone, they should be in store for a plethora of matchups to exploit. This pass rush should get home more than once and the secondary should be able to bully anyone that the Bengals bring out at quarterback. Expect this dominant defense to have their way on Monday and aid in an eventual victory.
