Steelers Punter Pressley Harvin III

Pressley Harvin III was drafted by the Steelers and it is his starting job to lose. His competition is Jordan Berry, who has stuck around the team for years despite having mixed results as the team’s punter of past seasons. Harvin is a unique player for his position as he stands. His unique physique raises eyebrows as well does his punting prowess.

He is someone that could boom the ball but also cause misdirection with special team plays that try for first down conversions. Spending a draft choice on a punter or any special team player is always going to bring a lot of notice. Harvin will have all eyes on him as fans hope that he can become a stable person for the position, something the franchise hasn’t had in many years.

So far in camp, this player has done some good things and some not-so-good things. He has boomed the ball nicely but also made some mistakes as well. Harvin needs to keep his consistency up so he can stand above Berry and win this competition. This game will probably be low-scoring so both of these punters should get some chances to do their job and show the coaches what they can do going forward.
