6 free agents that may follow Brian Flores to the Steelers

Steelers could sign Fuller
Now this one may be more of a stretch, as one could easily argue that Will Fuller didn’t really play for Flores during his single-season stint with the Dolphins. He only appeared in two games due to injury and neither of those stints amounted to much success. That said, Flores likely had a say in signing Fuller last season and he could convince the team to bring him in in 2022.
I’ve written before how Fuller would be a good upgrade in the slot for the Steelers assuming JuJu Smith-Schuster departs this offseason, and Flores would be able to tell the team what he knows about the former Texan. If 2022 was just a freak season derailed by injury, the team can and should extend him a short “prove-it” deal.
Fuller offers sharper routes, agility, and pure speed out of the slot. While Smith-Schuster has been fine there, he is used more as a physical, move the chains type of option. Fuller would be more aggressive on deeper routes and would be a bigger threat with the ball in his hands.
Flores wanted him a season ago and it would make sense for the Steelers to target him now assuming his season was lost due to injury and nothing else.
