Steelers: 3 potential replacements for WR JuJu Smith Schuster

Steelers could draft Skyy Moore
I’m not as big of a Skyy Moore enthusiast as many NFL Draft experts and Steelers fans seem to be. Moore is coming from a non-Power Five conference and wasn’t the most natural hands-catcher in college. In addition, his short stature (5’9 5/8”) and tiny wingspan (73 5/8”) will almost assuredly force him inside at the next level.
still, there’s a lot to get excited about when it comes to Skyy Moore. Despite his lack of height, Moore has a good, muscular build at 195 pounds, and it certainly doesn’t hurt that he has massive 10 1/4” mitts.
It also doesn’t hurt that Moore has great speed (4.41) and his 10-yard split (1.46) measured in the 97th percentile among NFL receivers. At Western Michigan, Moore was insanely productive this year with 95 catches for 1,292 yards and 10 touchdowns in 12 games.
Moore would certainly give Pittsburgh a speedy weapon from the slot to pair with Claypool and Johnson, but this would likely have to come at the cost of a second-round pick. Still, he is a player who will certainly be on the Steelers radar this April.
We know that the Steelers are going to be looking for a wide receiver who can man the slot position this year, and these three options are very much on the table for Pittsburgh in 2022.
