Steelers Harris

There is no singular player that has benefited more from this offseason than Najee Harris. The Steelers first-round pick from last year had an ok season as a rookie. He ran hard and usually maximized the looks in front of him. His total yardage numbers were much more due to his total touches though, and he will need to be more efficient with his touches in 2022.

Luckily for him, the Steelers boosted the interior of their line. While Mason Cole doesn’t move the needle much, James Daniels does. He should have far better opportunities and holes along the interior of the line, something he didn’t have last season. Expect to see his total yards per touch increase because of that.

On top of this, the offense is being built around him being the workhorse. The team clearly wants to run more and run better this season, and Harris will be critical to that. As well, Harris should be a favorite target of Trubisky out of the pocket in the passing game. Harris proved to be a reliable receiver last season, and he should continue with that this year. All in all, expect Harris to be a huge benefactor of this new offense in 2022.

Must Read. One QB the Steelers could take in every round of the draft. light

While the Steelers still have a lot of question marks about their roster in 2022, these four players seem like great fits with what this team wants to do. Expect each of them to make a big impact on the roster and play well. They were easily the biggest winners of the offseason, as the new additions will best help them in 2022.
