Cleveland Browns: George Pickens, WR (Georgia)

The Browns have managed to pull off two noteworthy acquisitions so far this offseason: wide receiver Amari Cooper and quarterback Deshaun Watson. But at around the same time, they actually lost a big-name wide receiver in Jarvis Landry.

Combining the loss of Landry with the midseason departure of star WR Odell Beckham Jr., today’s Browns are left with a star quarterback and just one notable receiver. To be frank, it doesn’t matter how talented Deshaun Watson is, he’s going to need more than that, and that is where Georgia wide receiver George Pickens comes into play.

Pickens is a 6’3″, 195-lb. wide receiver out of the SEC–and not just anywhere in the SEC. Coming from the Georgia Bulldogs, also known as college football’s defending National Champions, Pickens has been on the biggest stage that any draft prospect could possibly experience.

Now yes, it is common knowledge that the NFL is an entirely different game when compared to that of college football. But just look at Pickens’s ability to catch as illustrated in the photograph above. Using that amazing shot as a reference, how long could it possibly take for him to catch dimes from a passer as elite as Deshaun Watson?
