Week 14: Ravens @ Steelers

Info: Sunday, December 11th, 1:00 p.m. ET, CBS

The second game fans need to circle on their calendar is Pittsburgh’s Week 14 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens. This contest isn’t a primetime game and it will take place at home for the Steelers, but this could prove to have major implications for two teams who could be jousting for a spot in the playoffs.

Last year, the Steelers went 2-0 against the Ravens in the regular season, but it’s important to consider that Baltimore was the most injured team in the NFL last year. Pittsburgh also didn’t even have to face Lamar Jackson the second time around. Because of an injury, it was Tyler Huntley that they narrowly escaped an overtime win against.

The Steelers were one miraculous play by T.J. Watt from being eliminated from the playoffs during the final game of the regular season against the Ravens last year, and divisional games are always tough. This time around, Baltimore should have a healthier, deeper roster.

Pittsburgh would get the shot at redemption if they lose this contest, as they play the Ravens again in Week 17. However, that game would be in Baltimore and a two-game swing against a division rival here might be the nail in the coffin. This game will have a lot riding on it.
