Wide Receiver: Hines Ward (1998-2011)

The Steelers have had plenty of legendary wide receivers, and current wide receiver Antonio Brown is currently on pace to be one of the greatest, if not the greatest in franchise history.

For the meantime, though, the credit has to go to future Hall of Famer Hines Ward.

Currently, no one stands close to Ward. With 1000 receptions in his career, that is over 400 receptions better than anyone, and no one has over 10000 receiving yards but him, and he’s over 12000.

Ward is a future Hall of Famer, and a two-time Super Bowl champion. He also won Super Bowl MVP in the 2005 victory over the Seattle Seahawks, and reeled in the historic game winning catch.

Ward was Roethlisberger’s favorite target for years, and one of the most dominant receivers in the league for almost his entire career.
