Josh Dobbs

Josh Dobbs is the player to watch in Week 4. He’ll get the starting gig against the Panthers, and will need to prove he’s worth a place on this team. What may be bigger than keeping his place in Pittsburgh, though, is earning enough trade stock to move on.

Reports have come about that teams may be interested in the second-year quarterback. He’s improved over the last year, looking more comfortable in the pocket, and using his legs in a more productive manner.

If he shines in this final preseason game, front offices may start calling. Pittsburgh has too many quarterbacks. Moving Dobbs would be an option they could and should explore. One more impressive performance and his trade stock will rise. Something the Steelers want to happen.
