Mike Evans

Mike Evans is a very talented receiver. He’s blessed with great size, speed, hands, and loads of athleticism. He can run all types of routes. He can beat you underneath or over the top. He’s a headache for any opposing defense.

He’s gotten off to a great start this season, being Fitzpatrick’s number one target. He’s hauled in 17 passes for 230 yards and two touchdowns. He looks explosive as ever.

The Steelers secondary got worked pretty much all game by the Chiefs and they don’t have a receiver as talented as Mike Evans. Tyreek Hill is a difficult matchup because of his unique skill set, but Mike Evans requires constant double coverage, including a corner that can man up on him all game.

If Joe Haden can’t return from his hamstring injury, or does play on a less-than-healthy hamstring, this could get ugly. Artie Burns would more than likely get the responsibility of covering him, and that is a huge mismatch.

Unless the Steelers can work out their communication issues defensively, Evans could be in for a massive game in prime time.
