4. Detroit Lions: Clelin Ferrell, EDGE Clemson

The Detroit Lions defense has simply not been good so far this year. They need to add pieces to their defense for Matt Patricia and that’s where Clemson edge rusher Clelin Ferrell comes in. Standing at 6’5, Ferrell is an absolute monster off the edge.

When you watch him his athleticism jumps off the screen. He routinely just outruns tackles around the edge before they can push him past the pocket.

I haven’t seen a complete set of pass rush moves but he does use his hands well to knock off blockers’ hands and free himself up around the edge.
