Michael Crabtree

No one needs to state just how talented Michael Crabtree is. His talent has never been the question. What he has lacked in his career is consistency at quarterback, and even then, having a quarterback that can throw him the ball.

Crabtree may be past the point where he could break out and be the star receiver he could’ve possibly been in a better situation earlier, but he’s still dangerous. Joe Flacco, for as much as we love to take jabs at the guy, can have the occasional huge game, and definitely isn’t to be taken lightly. With a weapon like Crabtree in his arsenal, it could only make Flacco’s job easier.

Crabtree leads the Ravens in targets and receptions. He is only averaging 10.3 yards-per-catch, so him and Flacco have yet to make any connections down the length of the field. The longest catch so far in 2018 for Crabtree is only 20 yards.

With Joe Haden more than likely covering him most, of not all of the game, you’d hope Haden has your typical “shut down corner” type of game. Head coach Mike Tomlin could scheme to have Haden on an island with Crabtree and worry about how the rest of his defense will do against their other weapons.

That’s all fine and dandy, but remember Haden is not playing with a 100% hamstring, and Crabtree is still talented enough to even pull off a few big catches against Haden.
