Eli Rogers

Eli Rogers didn’t do much during his short time back in 2018. As the fourth receiver in the core, competing with James Washington for playing time, Rogers wasn’t relied on much but constantly showed why the Steelers love him when given the chance.

Ben Roethlisberger has a connection with Rogers and he’s as reliable as they come when on the field. It isn’t an expensive contract to give and it keeps another pair of hands on deck for when Antonio Brown leaves.

The offense is going to shift drastically with Brown and Bell gone in 2019. It’s a culture change and a significant loss of talent. Pittsburgh wants to keep as many pieces as they can to focus on losing their two stars.

dark. Next. It doesn't make sense not to tag Bell

Rogers gets a new deal just like he did last season. If he’s around for a whole year he can be a decent role player in the slot. That’s something Big Ben loves to have on his team.
