The Steelers gave up too much to get Bush

I have already outlined why I think the Bush pick is a risky pick, but to compound the risk, I want to mention that the Steelers gave up three important picks to get Bush. They gave up the 20th pick in this year’s draft, a second round pick in this year’s draft, and a third rounder in 2020.

Sure, the Steelers still had a first round pick this year, and early third round pick with Diontae Johnson. They will also most likely get a third round compensatory pick next year for Bell. That doesn’t mean that they didn’t forfeit two day-two picks – which are crucial to filling out a roster.
