Is this offensive line where it was a year ago?

The Steelers will probably also get to see the whole offensive line play together for the first time Sunday. This will be an interesting opportunity as they have the same personnel that they ended last season with. This time they will be a year older and some of the Steelers core offensive linemen are aging.

Alejandro Villanueva will be 30, Ramon Foster will be 33, Maurkice Pouncey will be 30, and David Decastro will be 29. That is an aging offensive line. Although they were very good last year, a player or two might start to decline. It is important that the five have a strong showing as a unit against the Titans so that their offensive line is taken as seriously.

My bet is that only Ramon Foster takes a step back this year as offensive linemen can play until they are 35. They just resigned Foster and Pouncey; so, internally the Steelers aren’t as concerned with these players ages as I am.
