Joshua Dobbs: Stock – down

Dobbs has struggled all preseason with accuracy and consistency. We all know Dobbs can make plays with his legs and extend plays but that can only take you so far.

Josh Dobbs has been very inconsistent on his accuracy throughout his three years in the league. It has been the most glaring hole in his game and has reared its ugly head often on short and medium routes.

He also had a throw in Thursday’s game in Carolina that he missed Washington on that he had hit in week one on a similar play. That is the kind of inconsistency that’s followed him in his young career.

Dobbs likely lost the number two battle to Rudolph, but I don’t think he will be cut or traded. Devlin Hodges made it interesting but I believe Dobbs will at worst fall to the third quarterback in 2019.
