Texans Injury Report

Brandin Cooks (Quad) Questionable

Brandin Cooks has a quad injury but I don’t think it’s so serious that Cooks can’t play. Cooks is an important piece for the Texans as he is probably their best receiver. I would imagine he will play this week against the Steelers but may be limited early in the week with a quad injury.

Cullen Gillaspia (Concussion) Questionable

Gillaspia has a concussion; so, the Texans want to be careful not to bring him back too soon. He was limited on Wednesday. He is their fullback but doesn’t play a lot for them.

The Texans aren’t a team that tries to pound the ball but it is a nice luxury in the NFL to have a fullback.

Duke Johnson (Ankle) Questionable

Duke Johnson was limited on Wednesday. He is probably the Texan’s #2 running back behind David Johnson. The value Duke Johnson brings is his ability to pass block which is not something to take for granted.

Peter Kalambayi (Hamstring) Questionable

Kalambayi was limited with a hamstring injury and those are usually not that serious. Kalambayi is more of a role player for the Texans. He plays linebacker for Houston’s squad.
