Steelers Injury Report (cont.)

Derek Watt (hamstring) Questionable

Watt has a minor hamstring problem but it looks like it is lingering a bit for the fullback. He sat out of practice on Wednesday and Thursday. The Steelers would probably like to have Derek Watt on running downs especially by the goal-line and in short-yardage situations. You might see Zach Gentry dress and maybe some more 12 personnel from the Steelers.

Ben Roethlisberger, Stephon Tuitt, and Maurkice Pouncey (Veteran’s Day Off)

Those three were given the day off on Wednesday. They all practiced fully on Thursday and that tells me that the Steelers can count on those three key pieces. Many teams have a way of resting their older and trusted veterans early in the week.

T.J. Watt (knee) Questionable

The Steelers have gotten some bad news this Thursday about T.J. Watt. I can assure you though that it doesn’t sound too serious as there would be worse reports coming out. I am just speculating, but it could be a situation where the Steelers are resting their top player. The Steelers have done that with guys like JuJu Smith-Schuster, Ben Roethlisberger, and Diontae Johnson.
