No. 2: How will Steelers offensive line hold up vs. Bills?

If there’s one overwhelmingly glaring concern about Pittsburgh’s entire roster this season, it’s the shape of the offensive line.

A unit that went through some massive changes from 2020 to now, more than a handful of former depth players and rookies will be asked to fill roles they weren’t exactly expected to fill towards the end of last season.

The two tackles, Dan Moore and Chukwuma Okorafor, have plenty of question marks regarding how well they’ll hold up in pass protection. While the two guard spots seem to be slightly better, at least in terms of worries, rookie center Kendrick Green could potentially be a liability.

It shouldn’t come as a shock to see Pro Football Focus rank the Steelers O-line next to last across the league in their opening 2021 rankings, and there haven’t exactly been a lot of reasons to assume this unit plays above its expected level when the regular season kicks off.

Perhaps the Bills pass rush isn’t overly dominant this year, but one shouldn’t necessarily expect that under the defensive mastermind, Buffalo’s head coach, Sean McDermott.
