Final Prediction: Steelers 27, Raiders 24

Many expect Pittsburgh to win fairly easily, but that has not been a common occurrence for this franchise.

The Raiders have a talented team and should be able to give the home squad a real fight to the end. They are coming off a short week, so it is going to be tough for them to get ready and recuperate for this Week 2 matchup. They also have to travel across the country to play this game, and those factors already put them in a negative position before the kickoff even happens.

Darren Waller is one of the best tight ends in the league, and Pittsburgh has shown issues in the past with covering that position. He should have a big game on Sunday, and that could be a major issue for the home team.

The Steelers defense is very good, but they won’t be able to always play that well every week. This offense needs to get going and they have a great opportunity against this silver and black team.

Las Vegas does not have a strong secondary, and that should lead to a big day for Ben Roethlisberger.

Expect a close score at the end of the game, but the black and gold should leave the field victorious and move onto 2-0 to start the 2021 season. The Steelers will look to win against the Raiders in this important game. Pittsburgh should win even though it looks to be a closer game than many might have thought.
