Cincinnati Bengals (1-1) vs Pittsburgh Steelers (1-1)

The Pittsburgh Steelers were upset by the visiting Las Vegas Raiders in their home opener. This loss happens after a huge week one upset over the Buffalo Bills. It is a tough loss for this team as they were highly favored in that game. For whatever reason, the Steelers have struggled against the Raiders for years now. No matter where the teams are expected to finish in the standings, the black and gold always struggle to beat this opponent. A loss against a cross-country team that had a short week with a bunch of injuries will be a tough pill to swallow going forward for the black and gold.

This AFC North matchup will be the first between the Bengals and the Steelers and it could go either way. The Steelers have the better roster but will they play like it? That is the question as this team continues to show a lack of consistency and any form of semblance on offense. This offense has to get going and that starts with Ben Roethlisberger and if they don’t, then this season will be a lost cause. So far they haven’t shown any difference from last year’s conclusion, so it’s put up or shut up time for them.

Injured players will also play a big role in this game with names like T.J. Watt, Joe Haden, Devin Bush, and others being on the injury report. If those players don’t come back then this could be a very close game going forward. The Bengals have a talented offense that is going to score a lot of points this season but the offensive line they have is an issue. The Steelers should win this game but after last week, they could just as easily lose it.
