1st: Joe Burrow, Bengals

If I had to compare praising a Cincinnati Bengals quarterback like this to a severity of pain, I’d place it somewhere between stubbing a toe and eating glass. But nonetheless, Joe Burrow is the best QB in the AFC North today.

With Burrow at the helm, the Bengals achieved their first postseason win in over three decades, along with making only their third-ever Super Bowl appearance last Sunday. Considering that no other quarterback in the division has done anything that monumental in recent memory, putting him in the top spot was a pretty obvious call to make.

Cincinnati does not feel like it is ready to slow down, either. Everyone and their mother is currently anticipating the Bengals ruling the AFC North for the foreseeable future, and the main reason as to why revolves around the question of who is going to stop them from doing so? A scrambler who can’t get over the hump? A pair of mediocre game-managers? Yeah, didn’t think so.

And with the Steelers unlikely to make much of a run next season, let’s hope for as much chaos as possible this Fall.
