16. . Cornerback. Buffalo Bills. Trent McDuffie. 25. player

Another fairly chalky pick. The Bills have a cornerback need, and they have three possibilities they could choose. They could still take Booth or Elam, so this selection is not a slam dunk by any stretch of the imagination. If there is a curveball in the draft, it will be in this pick; as if Breece Hall gets taken, it will be the Bills, or he falls to the second round.

. Linebacker. Tennessee Titans. Nakobe Dean. 26. player. 35

The Titans have several options in this slot depending on who is left when they select. Nakobe Dean is available in this selection, and he is the player projected in most mock drafts. If for any reason Dean is not available when they select, then look for them to take Devon Lloyd, Kenyon Green, Bernhard Raimann, or Zion Johnson

Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Zion Johnson. 27. player. 48. . Offensive Lineman

The Buccaneers had their offensive line raided in free agency, and Brady is coming back for another season, and he’s not getting younger. So protect Brady at all costs.

Green Bay Packers. Bernhard Raimann. 28. player. 49. . Offensive Tackle

The Packers could double dip and go with Treylon Burks , but they either go with an offensive lineman or a defensive lineman. However, if they take a wide receiver on their first pick, they protect Rodgers and open the running lanes for Aaron Jones would be the logical choice with this selection.

Treylon Burks. 29. player. 124. . Wide Receiver. Kansas City Chiefs

With the trade of Tyreek Hill, they need a wide receiver. The Chiefs will scarf up Treylon Burks if he falls to the 29th selection, plus they have back-to-back selections.

124. . Edge. Kansas City Chiefs. David Ojabo. 30. player

If the Cheifs feel that Ojabo will heal from his torn achilles, then he may be worth the selection, and they get needed defensive help after taking Treylon Burks. If, for some reason, they do not take Ojabo, then expect them to take Daxton Hill or Boye Mafe, or any available cornerback.

Cornerback. Cincinnati Bengals. Andrew Booth Jr.. 31. player. 56.

Ordinarily, Booth may not fall this far. So this selection may be a reach. That said it’s possible Linderbaum, Green, or Raimann may still be available for the Bengals. In any event, if the offensive linemen are gone, this would be an excellent addition for the Bengals.

player. 50. . Quarterback. Detroit Lions. Matt Corral. 32

Sometimes, one has to wonder what goes through the Lions’ general manager’s head. They could use this spot to take Boye Mafe. They could take Jahan Dotson and give Jared Goff an extra offensive weapon to allow him to be more productive. However, they will waste the selection on Matt Corral, thinking the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence.
