Wiz Khalifa, Rapper

Wiz Khalifa was born in North Dakota but moved to Pittsburgh with his mother at a young age. Growing up in Pittsburgh, Khalifa became a fan of Pittsburgh sports and took a liking to the Steelers.

Khalifa’s song “Black and Yellow” is about the city of Pittsburgh, and has become a smash hit. Not only has the song gained significant popularity everywhere, but it has become a Steelers anthem, as it is frequently played at Heinz Field and in Steelers highlight videos.

"“Reppin’ my town, when you see me you know everything Black and yellow, black and yellow Black and yellow, black and yellow”"

In the song’s music video, Khalifa is not only seen wearing a Pirates hat but he is also seen waving and holding a terrible towel throughout, alongside numerous others who are also holding them.

Khalifa has become widely known as one of the biggest celebrity Steelers fans, and “Black and Yellow,” will forever link him with the Steelers and the city of Pittsburgh. He has made several appearances at Heinz Field and will likely be featured every time he does going forward.
