3. Steelers fans must be patient with DeMarvin Leal jersey
I really like DeMarvin Leal. Despite being a third-round draft choice, I think Leal is a very solid football player with a reasonably high upside. Last year at this time, he was considered a potential top-five draft choice.
Leal just turned 21 years old prior to the 2022 NFL Draft, and I expect him to have a long, successful NFL career. However, if you are hoping to get the most bang for your buck right away with the rookie Steelers jersey purchase, there might be better options.
Because of the projected depth along the defensive line, Leal might not be asked to play a big role right away. He also projects as an interior defensive lineman for the Steelers, and fans typically don’t find this as flashy as a position like QB or WR.
However, the good news is that I think Leal is a guy who will have the chance to stick in Pittsburgh for a long time. It happens to line up where Leal could be the player who takes over for Cameron Heyward when he hangs up his cleats. He may even play an important role even sooner if Stephon Tuitt isn’t coming back.
