1. Kenny Pickett has a huge game on the anniversary of the Steelers “Immaculate Reception”

No matter how you slice it unless Kenny Pickett has some miraculous performance in the pre-season, Mitch Trubisky will be the number one quarterback going into the season. However, when you look at the Steelers schedule, they face five playoff opponents from 2021, and four others were bubble teams that nearly made the playoffs. Thus at some point in 2022, for whatever the reason, Kenny Pickett will make an appearance. Probably in much the same way, Devlin Hodges had a few starts in 2019.

In 2022, there is one game, in particular, we may see Kenny Pickett making a start, and it’s just a feeling. On December 24th, the Steelers play the Raiders at home 50 years, to the day, of the Immaculate Reception. As we all know, Franco Harris made one of the most spectacular plays in league history. So it would be a perfect opportunity for another Steelers rookie to establish himself.

As we know, anytime the Steelers face the Raiders, anything can happen, and you know something unusual will have to happen in this game, which makes this game perfect for Kenny Pickett to have a breakout performance. Expect Kenny Pickett to shred the Raiders through the air and finish with 475 passing yards, four touchdowns, and another 50-plus rushing yards. What else would you expect in a game played on a historic anniversary,
