2. Klint Kubiak, Passing Game Coordinator, San Francisco 49ers

If you had told me that, after the conclusion of the 2022 NFL Draft, Brock Purdy would go on to become a top-5 quarterback in terms of passing yards, passing touchdowns, passer rating, completion percentage, and QBR, just a season later, I would have laughed in your face.

But, that's exactly what the last pick in the 2022 draft class has done this year. It seems to be true, that any quarterback can have success under head coach Kyle Shanahan. But, it is also worth looking at the guys beneath him who are learning and absorbing his wealth of knowledge.

Shanahan's system is extremely passer-friendly and, if Klint Kubiak brought a similar style to Pittsburgh, the Steelers might even be able to have some better success with Pickett, after all. Even if Pickett didn't end up being the guy, Kubiak could be an excellent option to groom the next franchise quarterback.

San Francisco is the no. 2 overall offense in the league, checking in at no. 2 in passing and no. 3 in rushing. All this system does is create opportunities for playmakers, and that's something Pittsburgh needs to learn to do better.
